2026 Rec Cheerleading (Fall)

TIGERS Cheer Registration is now open!! Registered players must reside in Totowa or Woodland Park!!

The mission of the Totowa PAL Cheerleading program is to provide children with a program that gives them the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading with proper adult supervision in a safe environment while having fun.

The objectives of the program are:
1. to improve the physical health of our children with training, conditioning and exercise that emphasizes participation, safety and coordination.
2. enhance the psychological well being of our children by reinforcing positive self-image, fairness and participation.
3. appreciate the value of personal effort and dedication to team effort.
4. members of the program will learn that each individual participant is an important part of the “TEAM” and to bring everyone’s talent, hard work and perseverance together to gain new skills and knowledge of cheerleading.  

Our squads range from K through 8th grade. Practices start three times per week in August (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm) with football games beginning in September and running into November. The season culminates in January with a program-wide Awards Dinner.

**Attendance at all in-season games AND post-season games are mandatory in order to have a successful season.**

Early bird discount of $30 applies through May 31st. Registration officially closes on July 17th at 11:59pm so we can plan for an amazing season! Please note that late registrations may not be able to be accommodated. In the event that we are able to accommodate late registrations, they will be subject to a non-refundable late fee. ABSOLUTELY NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 7/24!

  • Tuesday, August 4th - First day of practice at the Totowa PAL
These dates will be communicated as soon as available:
  • Pep Rally at the Totowa PAL
  • Opening Day of games at the Totowa PAL
  • Homecoming at the Totowa PAL

Please note there are uniform parts that each cheerleader will need to purchase outside the scope of this registration, which may or may not include: cheerleading shoes, socks, bodyliner, boyshorts, leggings, etc.

2026 Tigers Football

TIGERS Football Registration is now open!! Registered players must reside in Totowa or Woodland Park!!

**TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY, MAY 31st**

The Totowa PAL Football Program is a (new) proud member of the Meadowlands Football League and we offer the following levels of play:

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten Flag Football (COED)
  • 1st/2nd Grade Tackle Football "Mighty Mites"

Competitive Games: These games are scheduled by the league and considered the "competitive levels" where scores and records are kept.
  • 3rd/4th Grade Tackle Football "PeeWees"
  • 5th/6th Grade Tackle Football "Juniors" 
  • 7th/8th Grade Tackle Football "Seniors"

**There will be no refunds offered once registration is closed. Please make sure your child wants to play and you are BOTH prepared for the time commitment.

  • Equipment handouts will be end of July.
  • Full team practices begin early August with games starting in early September. The season concludes depending on playoff success in mid-November.
  • ALL tackle players are required to purchase game Jerseys through the program (when needed) for an additional cost.

IMPORTANT DATES - ALL DATES TO BE COMMUNICATED AS SOON AS DETERMINED:
  • MANDATORY league weigh-ins for all tackle players
  • Pep Rally at the Totowa PAL
  • Opening Day of games at the Totowa PAL
  • Homecoming at the Totowa PAL (8th grade players)

WEIGHT LIMITS (subject to change by the league in pre-season meetings):
  • 1st/2nd (Mighty Mites) - no weight limit
  • 3rd/4th (PeeWees) - 130 lbs; Backfield 105 lbs
  • 5th/6th (Juniors) - 155 lbs; Backfield 125 lbs
  • 7th/8th (Seniors) - 180 lbs; Backfield 150 lbs
