2024 Tigers Football

TIGERS Football Registration is now open!! Registered players must reside in Totowa or Woodland Park!!

**TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5th 2024**

The Totowa PAL Football Program is a proud member of the Northern Bergen Junior Football League ( nbjfl.org ) and we offer the following levels of play:

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten Flag Football (COED - will play an independent schedule with other towns)
  • 1st/2nd Grade Tackle Football "Mighty Mites" (Games are independently scheduled amongst other programs that offer 1st/2nd grade tackle football)

NBJFL Scheduled Games: These games are scheduled by the league and considered the "competitive levels" where scores and records are kept.
  • 3rd/4th Grade Tackle Football "Pee Wees"
  • 5th/6th Grade Tackle Football "Juniors" 
  • 7th/8th Grade Tackle Football "Seniors"

**There will be no refunds offered once registration is closed. Please make sure your child wants to play and you are BOTH prepared for the time commitment.

  • Senior, Junior, Pee Wee and Mites squads will begin conditioning workouts early July.
  • Equipment handouts will be end of July.
  • Full team practices begin early August with games starting in early September. The season concludes depending on playoff success in mid-November.
  • ALL tackle players are required to purchase game Jerseys through the program (when needed) for an additional cost.
  • Mighty Mites and Flag Teams play independent schedules which are coordinated amongst participating programs. Practices will be coordinated by coaching staff.

IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Sunday, June 9th - FREE NBJFL Football Camp (must register - please view @totowafootball (instagram) or @TotowaPALFootball (facebook) for info.
  • Saturday, September 9th - MANDATORY league weigh-ins for all tackle players - MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR!
  • Friday, September 13th - Pep Rally at the Totowa PAL.
  • Saturday November 2nd - Homecoming at the Totowa PAL.

2024 Tigers Soccer (Fall Recreational)

GOAL, GOAL, GOAL!!!

Please read carefully.

The Totowa Police Athletic League soccer program is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer for the youth and families of Totowa & Woodland Park. 

We offer youth intramural soccer (PreK-8) for the Fall and play with surrounding towns.

Our soccer program will cultivate each player's mind, body and spirit by:
 -building, developing, and improving their skills and fitness levels
 -instilling confidence, initiative, emotional growth
 -embracing and nurturing a sense of community and teamwork
 -advocating high standards of sportsmanship and fair play 

Our coaching staff is trained in the US Soccer Methodology, and focus on player development through Play-Practice-Play.

The season typically starts the weekend after Labor Day and ending the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, with about 10-12 games scheduled based on ages. Practices are hosted on weeknights, typically Tues -Thursday, based upon coaches availability. Games schedules are as follow:

Grades PreK-K: Saturday mornings at 9am, at Veterans Field
Grades 1-2: Saturday mornings between 10am-12p, at Lincoln 1 Field (PAL Lower Field)
Grades 3-8: Assigned Game Schedule 5 Home Games / 5 Away Games (Girl Only Teams play Saturday morning at 9a or 11a / Boys - CoEd Teams play on Sunday at 1p or 3p)

We are excited to announce our recreational program is a member of and will compete within the Northwest Bergen Soccer Association; for our inaugural season we will be submitting teams based on early registration participation at the 3rd - 8th grade levels.

Our goal is field separate teams for girls at these levels, where possible. Team spots are not guaranteed, register early for your teams. When registration fills up you will automatically get wait-listed, where when possible we will create an additional team.

For the early bird discount registration must be fully completed and checked out of the cart by the indicated date of June 30th. Late fees will apply to all registrations starting August 4th, 2024.

We are a volunteer-ran program, and need everyone help in making this a success full season. We've provided a financial incentive to help drive involvement in the program, sign up to be a coach, assistant, or help with fundraising!

CONTINUED SUCCESS: We are proud to continue our partnership with TSF to provide trainer-led practices for 8 weeks throughout the season for Grade 1 through 8.

We are committed to making the game of soccer fun, safe and a rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability. Come join the team!

Competitive and Travel/Academy Soccer also offered for the calendar year, Fall-Spring.* (The Travel Soccer program is a member of the Morris County Youth Soccer Association; registration is separate from our recreational program).  Players will be registered with NJYS, USSF, and FIFA. If you player is dedicated and has a passion for soccer we encourage you to reach out. Additional, players can play travel and with their recreational teams with many of their classmates.

2024/2025 PV UNITED (Travel Soccer)

Registration for tryouts, for the 2024/25 competitive soccer calendar season. We participate in MCYSA for league regulated games, and attend tournaments in the Northern & Central NJ area.

Calling all ages, U9-U15 (Birth Years 2017-2011).
